The Rays are 29-11 while the Yankees are 25-15 after last nights win by the Rays over the Yankees 10-6, as they won their 7th game out of the last 8 games played. In doing so
They have recorded the leagues 4th best record thru 40 games that is held over the last 40 years of baseball. This can sure move the MLB Betting lines and MLB Odds.

The pitching for tonight game will be Andy Pettitte the Yankees pitcher of fame who is 5-0 and with an ERA of 1.79. For the Rays they will start James Shields who is 4-1 with and ERA of 3.00.

The Rays are on a stretch of 20 games in 20 days and so far they are 1/3 thru that schedule, with 13 games left to play. The Rays pitcher Shield has 38 strikeouts over his last 4 games and has only walked 2 batters for the same period. He claims to have four major pitches that he can throw to either side of home plate so that can complicated things for the opponents if he uses them properly.

The Yankees of late are having problems with their line up due to injuries. That puts a lot of pressure on Ramiro Pena who is back up to several infield positions, and also is used on occasions as a catcher and in the outfield. I’m sure they are glad to have that guy sitting on the bench.

The Yankees normally would be favorites as they are at home and their record there is 13-5 so far this MLB season while the Rays on the road are a fantastic 16-4 thus far. These stats tend to give the Rays and the Yankees both a 45- 55 % for taking this game, so it’s a toss and will certainly show concern from MLB betting fans as well as movement for the MLB Odds in place.
The Rays and the Yankees Stats:
The Rays are: 29-11 SU
The Yankees are: 25-15 SU
The Rays lately are:
While playing on Thursday’s they are 3-7
Before they played Houston they were 2-4
After they played the Yankees they are 3-7
After their last win they are 8-2

The Yankees lately are:
While playing Thursday’s they are 7-3
Before they played the Mets they were 7-3
After they played the Rays they are 8-2
After their last loss they are 6-4
The Next Game is:
The Rays at the Astros, on Friday, May 21

The Yankees will try to close their nine game road trip with a winning record tonight when they complete the three game series against the Sluggish Orioles.

For one to say that the Orioles have struggled this year is a major understatement. The Orioles are a dismal 4-16 on the season and they are just 1-6 at home. The team isn’t exactly stocked full of young stars that have the fan base preparing for better years anytime soon either.

The Yankees are the big favorite in this one, and deservedly so. The Orioles have a chance here, but they’ll need Matusz to pitch a gem.
It doesn’t look like the Orioles have what it takes to oppose the Yankees here. They were really lucky in the first game, but today we expect the Yankees to show their class for one more time and take another comfortable victory in this game.
The Yankees and Oriole Stats:
The Yankees are: 13-7 SU
The Orioles are: 4-17 SU
The Yankees lately:
While playing Thursday’s they are 7-3
Before playing the White Sox they were 5-5
After playing the Orioles they are 9-1
After a win they are now 7-3

The Orioles lately:
While playing Thursday’s they are 4-6
Before playing Boston they were 1-9
After playing the Yankees they are 1-9
After a loss they are now 2-8
Next Game:
The Yankees at home vs the White Sox, on Friday, April 30
The Orioles are 1-7 at home this season and the Yankees are 8-6 on the road this season. This is a close match-up with both teams having a 45 to 55 percent chance of winning!

The Odds Makers have the lines at present for the Yankess -1 ½ (-110) and the Orioles +1 ½(-110) and the Total – Over 8 1/2 (-105) the Under 8 1/2 (-115) and the Yankees are -172 and the Orioles are +162 on the Money Line.

The Yin and the Yang of the AL East baseball betting remain in balance after the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox split the first two games of the MLB odds season civil war in the Northeast was averted. And if anything the splitting of the first two games of the opening series between these two teams is great news for the online betting community and hopeful an omen for interesting things to come in the ’10 baseball MLB betting action.

These two ball clubs are the face of MLB betting and are two of the best known franchises in sports betting. Their re-kindled rivalry over the past decade has been the most documented in sports over that time and the baseball betting public loves it.

Remember you can place all your Baseball Betting transactions at SBG GlobalSportsbook

As the defending World Series champions the Yankees are the favorite in the baseball odds to repeat as champs. However, every MLB odds maker on the planet believes the Sox are also plenty good enough to win the World Series and there is little doubt that these two teams are two of the best in the MLB betting action.

The Sox took the opening of the MLB season on the road at the new Yankees stadium delivering a nasty blow to the millions of diehard Yanks fans in the baseball betting community. But after a day off to travel to Boston the Yankees repaid the favor by giving the Bo-Sox nation a bitter loss to swallow at Fenway.

While it’s still too early to early to predict how the 162-game MLB betting season will play out, if these first two games were any indication of how things are going to turn out sports betting fans should be very happy. Game One had plenty of runs and plenty of drama as the Sox clawed their way back going ahead in the 7th inning to claim a 9-7 road win. On Tuesday it was New York’s turn to make the home crowd sick as they repaid the favor with a 6-4 win of their own in Boston.

These teams next meet up in the baseball odds on May 7th and you can be sure it will be another tremendous baseball wagering event.

There is something awfully polarizing about the New York Yankees. Either you love the ‘Evil Empire’ or you hate it, but rarely will you find a baseball betting fan that is indifferent. This team inspires strong feelings either way but no matter if you adore or despise the Bronx Bombers, you can’t help but respect their success in the MLB odds.

The World Series baseball betting trophy went back to the Yankees trophy cabinet last season after fans were calling for blood after, gasp, the team missed the playoffs for the first time in a decade. So high are the MLB odds winning standards for this club that even one year of missing the post season triggered a radical spending spree and mini-baseball betting crisis in the front office.

But now, perched firmly atop the MLB odds world once again the team looks set to repeat as champs. At the plate, there was no better team in the 2009 season and that during a year when former MVP and steroid user, A-Rod, had a pretty awful year. On the mound the newly acquired free agent starters for the Yanks came on strong in the last half of the season as AJ Burnett and CC Sabathia were unstoppable.

Add to that the arrival of another quality starter in Javier Vasquez. The Yanks have won an unprecedented 27 World Series wins. That number is unrivaled in all of sports as the team has won roughly a quarter of every championship for a century. And barring any major roster moves in the next few weeks the team is the favorite to add a 28th in the upcoming 2010 season as well.
