Colorado Rockies at San Francisco Giants

The Colorado Rockies are a young MLB franchise but in the team’s brief existence it’s already provided some of the most exciting moments in baseball betting over the past two decades. The San Fran Giants, on the other hand, are one of the oldest franchises in the MLB odds action and have a long and rich tradition. The two contrasting cultures and traditions are what make baseball wagering so interesting and on May 1st these two teams will go head to head in Game 1 of a two-game MLB betting series.

The Colorado Rockies are off to a decent start this season (10-9) and are just 1.5 games behind the NL West leading San Diego Padres. The Colorado Rockies have been one of the great enigmas in baseball betting over the past few years. This is one of the few teams that has occupied the bottom of the standings as well as the top in the same few years, or even the same MLB odds season.

Peppered with top players the Rockies have garnered the well-earned reputation of being the best finishing team in baseball betting and will look for a strong start to go with a strong finish in 2010.
