Seattle Mariners looking to take AL West Baseball Betting title

April 3rd, 2010 No comments

Seattle MarinersFor diehard Seattle Mariners baseball betting fans the last decade of sports betting has been a tumultuous one. First Junior goes, than A-Rod, than the Big Unit, and Edgar and Bones retire leaving the team a shell of its former self and one of the worst teams in MLB betting.

But slowly this team has been rebuilding through the draft and free agent signings and has once again pulled itself up into baseball betting contention in the AL West. For Mariners fans, the Angels have dominated this MLB wagering division long enough and this is the year that Seattle can hopefully knock LA off the top of the baseball wagering standings. NL West Baseball Betting title is Dodgers for the taking

March 31st, 2010 No comments

Los Angeles DodgersAs avid baseball betting fans know the NL West has been the LA Dodgers division to win or lose over the past several years and this MLB odds season looks to be no different in that regard. The Dodgers have the most talented roster of any team in the MLB betting division both on the mound and at the plate and the 2010 NL West baseball wagering title is theirs to win or lose.

The only other team in the baseball betting division that could challenge the Dodgers in terms of quality pitching is the San Francisco Giants who not only have the best pitcher in the NL gambling odds in two-time reigning Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum, but they also have as good a number two starter as you’ll find in the MLB odds action in Matt Cain. Unfortunately for the Giants, they have no offense. And that is why the Dodgers get the leg up on this team in the baseball odds. Read more…

There is hope for the New York Mets in Baseball Betting

New York MetsThere is perhaps no more thankless job in baseball betting than being a New York Mets fans. Let’s face it this franchise has had very little success in the MLB odds competition and has found ever new and inventive ways of losing in recent baseball wagering seasons. And thanks to its cross-town neighbors success in the MLB odds the Mets franchise will always be the neglected team, the red-headed stepchild of New York baseball gambling.

Last season may have been the low point of the team’s recent sports betting failures as the team limped (quiet literally) to a 70-92 record and finished fourth in the five team NL East. But last year was an aberration in the MLB odds competition even for the perennially poor Mets. Read more…

Tampa Bay, Baseball Betting and the League

Tampa Bay RaysWhen it comes to baseball betting the spring training leagues are not much more than a warm up –a highly enjoyable and entertaining warm up, but a warm up nonetheless. The same is true of the action on the field: it’s not quite MLB odds caliber competition but it’s still pretty good. And this spring no team has been as dominant in the Grapefruit League sports betting as the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Rays burst onto the baseball betting two seasons ago after more than a decade in MLB odds purgatory as they won the AL East and made a deep run into the MLB betting postseason but ultimately falling short of winning the World Series. Last year, with expectations as big as they’ve ever been in the franchise’s brief baseball wagering history; the team fell well short of reaching their goals or even reaching the MLB betting postseason for that matter. Washington Nationals on the way to be the worst in Baseball Betting

March 24th, 2010 No comments

Washington NationalsBaseball betting fans will note that ever since the former Montreal Expos team was taken over by MLB and relocated and reincarnated as the Washington Nationals this franchise has enjoyed very little success. And if there’s one thing that MLB odds fans know, it’s that history repeats itself. This year, at least in terms of Nationals’ success in the baseball wagering, it’s déjà vu all over again.

If Spring Training is any indication of a team’s success level in the up coming MLB odds than woe are the Nationals’ fans as it looks like they’re in for another loss filled season in the 2010 sports betting. Read more…
