Baseball Betting Odds Houston Astros at Saint Louis Cardinals

April 14th, 2010 No comments

If the baseball betting season were to end today (an absurd prospect considering that we’re not even two weeks into the 2010 MLB betting season) the Cards would once again be NL Central champs and the Astros would once again end the MLB wagering season in the cellar. And even though there’s still may games to be played this year on the MLB betting calendar the baseball odds are very high that these two teams will finish the regular season in the same position in the standings as they are right now.

The Cards have jumped out to an early lead in the NL Central with a 5-2 record while the Astros have fallen into last place in the baseball betting division. Actually, that should be clarified. The ‘Stros haven’t just fallen into last place in the NL Central betting, they’ve fallen into last place in the entire MLB odds betting action and are the only team in the league yet to win a single game. Houston’s 0-7 start is the ultimate monument to baseball betting futility and the saddest thing about it the fact that it might be some time before this team gets a single notch in the MLB odds win column. Mets hoping for a better luck in the 2010 Baseball Betting season

April 10th, 2010 No comments

2009 and was a disastrous MLB baseball betting season for the New York Mets. The season was practically over before it even began due to a string of injuries and unusual bad luck. In what was supposed to be a banner sports betting season, one in which the Mets were preseason favorites among MLB odds makers to win the NL East, the team was lucky just to finish the season.

But with plenty of time to rest and get healthy again the Mets are looking to reverse their fortunes in the 2010 baseball betting season and once again compete for the MLB wagering post season.

After finishing a hugely disappointing 2009 in last place in the NL East betting standings and winding up the season 23 games out (70-92) the Mets are ready to give the Phillies a run for the money. Read more…

Baseball Betting Odds News – San Francisco Giants future on Playoffs?

April 8th, 2010 No comments

To be a San Francisco Giants fan is to endure seemingly endless suffering in the baseball betting results. This is a long and storied franchise full of rich tradition and highs and lows but over the past decade it sure seems like there’s been a lot more lows than highs –especially in the MLB odds results.

There was the whole Barry Bonds scandal which drug the franchise’s name through the mud, but more frustrating for fans have been the abysmal baseball betting results over that same span in MLB wagering. For years the team has underperformed and done little to impress MLB odds makers. Read more…
