Tonight Baseball Betting Odds Athletics @ Tigers MLB Action

May 28th, 2010 Nicholas Weaver No comments

The Athletics are playing like a born again team in the American League West after having won five of their last six games, and if they can win on this road trip they have a chance at staying near the top of the Division. Will this reflect in the MLB Betting lines and MLB Odds for this four game series in Detroit?

Starting pitchers for tonight’s game is Ben Sheets for the A’s who is 2-3 with and ERA of 5.04 with 45 Ks and 28 Walks and it’s Dontrelle Willis who is 1-2 with an ERA of 4.97 with 28 Ks and 25 Walks. The Athletics hope Sheets can rebound tonight, as he is coming back from elbow surgery and seems to be improving. He missed all of 2009 with surgery and in the off season signed a 10 million dollar one year deal with the A’s. Sheet’s has not pitched against the Tiger since 2007. On the other hand the Tiger hope their 30 year old pitcher Willis can make a recovery also tonight. Read more…

Baseball Betting – Phillies at Braves MLB Odds

April 21st, 2010 Romer Cleaver No comments

Only several weeks into the new baseball betting season and some division rivalries are already starting to look like MLB playoff betting series. Perhaps that’s an exaggeration, but you can expect plenty of intensity when the Philadelphia Phillies travel to Atlanta to take on the Braves in game two of this MLB odds series.

Philadelphia (8-4), the defending NL champs are off to a great start to the 2010 ML betting season and are likely an even better team this season than they were last baseball betting season. The reason of course is the addition of ace Roy Halladay who has been dominating NL batters so far in his brief stint as the Phillies’ MLB betting ace. Read more…

Baseball Betting Phillies at Braves MLB Odds

National League hitters (and baseball betting fans of any NL team, save the Phillies) would have much preferred pitching ace Roy Halladay to remain in Toronto. During his tenure north of the border Halladay was little more than a distant headline; a worry for the giants of the AL East like the Red Sox and Yankees. Out of sight out of mind.

But now that the Philadelphia Phillies traded for Halladay in the MLB betting off-season and the NL batters have to face him all year long, no team or player in the Junior League is pleased at this sports betting prospect.

For the teams and batter of the NL East betting competition things are even worse as they have to face Halladay at a much greater frequency than any of the other NL teams. Read more…

MLB Odds Mets at Cardinals in baseball betting

April 18th, 2010 Nicholas Weaver No comments

The Mets and Cards will do battle on the baseball betting diamond on Saturday April 18th. The New York will travel to Saint Louie and try and try and derail a Card’s team that has been all but unbeatable over the first two weeks of the MLB odds action. And it will be no easy task considering how poor the Mets have looked thus far in the 2010 baseball wagering.

The Mets (2-5), unfortunately find themselves in familiar territory so far this year: last in the NL East. Last year was a baseball betting aberration, or so the Met’s faithful hoped. After being absolutely depleted by injuries it was no wonder that the team finished near the bottom of the NL betting competition. But this MLB betting season was supposed to be different. Baseball Betting Mets at Cardinals MLB Odds

April 18th, 2010 Kenny Carter No comments

This baseball betting matchup between a 5-2 team and a 2-5 team doesn’t seem all that appealing at first glance but if the right pieces fall into place it just might turn into a can’t miss MLB odds matchup on Saturday April 18th.

The St. Louis Cardinals (5-2) have been dominating opponents so far in the young 2010 MLB betting season. The team started the year with a 4-2 road record before opening up the baseball betting action at Busch Stadium.

The New York Mets (2-5) have done just the opposite of the Red Birds in the 2010 betting odds action. This team has been a bit of a disappointment after stocking up on free agent bats in the baseball betting off season and getting its pitching staff more or less healthy. When the team heads to St Louis it will definitely have its work cut out for it and no baseball odds maker is going to give the team much of a chance in the game. Unless ace Johan Santana is pitching. Read more…
