Over the past few seasons the Philadelphia Phillies have been one of the winningest teams in the MLB Odds. It even has a World Series ring to prove it. Philly plays in the ultra competitive NL East and has managed to dominate. In just a few weeks the catchers and pitchers will be reporting to company headquarters and within a month or two Spring Training for the 2010 season will officially begin. It’s hard to believe that several months have already passed since the Yankees and their team of hired mercenaries won their 700th World Series and infuriated half of the baseball fan base by entirely enthralling the other half of baseball fans the world over that adores the baseball giant.
We can only hope that the 2010 MLB odds season includes as many exciting, if somewhat predictable moments, as the 2009 MLB odds season. There was the inevitable return of the Yankees to the top of the baseball standings and love them or hate them they played good baseball, deserved to win the title, and that should be applauded.
