Washington Nationals on the way to be the worst in Baseball Betting

Washington NationalsBaseball betting fans will note that ever since the former Montreal Expos team was taken over by MLB and relocated and reincarnated as the Washington Nationals this franchise has enjoyed very little success. And if there’s one thing that MLB odds fans know, it’s that history repeats itself. This year, at least in terms of Nationals’ success in the baseball wagering, it’s déjà vu all over again.

If Spring Training is any indication of a team’s success level in the up coming MLB odds than woe are the Nationals’ fans as it looks like they’re in for another loss filled season in the 2010 sports betting.

The franchise had very little talent or baseball wagering success in its final days in Montreal and it hasn’t improved since re-locating to the nation’s capitol. The Nats have never had a winning record since moving to Washington (although the club did finish .500 in the MLB odds completion in the inaugural season of 2005).

According to most baseball betting indications it will not have winning record in 2010 either. For fans of team that has never finished higher than fifth place in the division MLB betting standings that’s not exactly good news.

But there are now at least reasons for hope. The Capitols have been aggressive in buying free agents, not always with a great deal of baseball wagering success, but at least the team is willing to spend the money. And this year there will at least be a bit of continuity among the core group of players and that should translate to more wins in the MLB betting competition.

And, of course, the real reason there is hope in Washington is fireballer Steven Strausburg the team’s number pick and hope for the baseball wagering future.

Opening the Spring Training season with the worst record in the Grapefruit League (5-14) but it’s still too early to tell how the upcoming MLB betting season will play out.
